Just a quick message to all you lucky fans who get to see saints play every home game, sadly I am not that fortunate, but I will be there for the first time tomorrow and am so excited!!!! Was hoping for a heads up on songs and chants (apart from the obvious saints go marching in) that are often sung on match days so I can add my voice to the masses and make a wall of noise to bring the bus home! Thanks in advance for any/all replies, see you tomorrow, for what I hope will be a 4-0 easy win for the mighty saints! COYR!
You will be very welcome Cardiff Saint and don't forget to give us a wave.......I'll be the one in the red and white and will wave back....... Have a great day out
Hey stop having a go at us Chapelites....We do sing and make a noise believe me.......We are not as Noisy as the Northam or parts of the kingsland.......but we do make a noise when we can.....so stop knocking us!!!!
ooooooooo...........So it's you that I can hear with the sweet wrapper being unraveled is it. There was me thinking it was my fellow moderator......... Not allowed mints .......so have to make do with sucking oranges......bet you can't hear that!
Good man. It is the best stand (if for nothing but the fact that 90% of the time the team is attacking our end in the 2nd half! Always annoys me for the 10% of the time when both teams switch ends just before KO).
Very funny Fran. Is it true they sell Horlicks in the Chapel Beddy? Chapel, Chapel give us a song...............ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz.
There are times when the rattling of the jewelry and clatter of the dentures can be quite deafening in the Chapel end. don't knock them they are as enthusiastic as the rest of us, but show a bit of decorum most of the time, not so when Guly scored against the Pirates, the whole end erupted, look at the pics.
Well they sell some Lager that looks like Horlicks is that what you mean?........ We do sing....trouble is it comes out kind of squeaky with the kids voices and their voices do not carry. Trust me they do their squeaky bit......... Also by the time the sound has reached from Northam we end up joining in for the last few seconds of the chant. The acoustics of that place is dreadful.
Hope you have a great day mate & enjoy it. I still get excited walking into the stadium & I am older & wiser & it takes alot to excite me these days. But ST Mary's & supporting Saints does.
Great result for us and if we can get a win at Brentford and Brighton can remember how to win we will be as good as up come 5pm on Saturday.
Beddy thought you would a werther original man... Me on the other hand prefer my mini cheddars Cardiff Saint... How was your trip? Possibly the best game for you to have gone to ... Really loud and buzzing atmosphere!!
