It was only a matter of time before our Mickey mouse small squad would get caught out. I'm afraid it's about to happen with Roscos injury. What sort of rabbit will NW pull out of the hat as a replacement? The only blessing in disguise is someone will have to produce funds for a replacement

Quite a few said when we signed Gray that he was a decent back-up to have, I disagreed and unless NW is going to play him I can't see why for the life of me we signed him.

Paleon will probably have to step up, or maybe play Diouff up front

Diouf, Gray, Poleon, or play 5 in midfield and one up front

Oops, forgot most of our midfield are crocked too

Maybe we can play 7 at the back?

Played Wolves Blackpool Blackburn and Cardiff tough start for us but 7 points with the peterborough game is not a bad return

Would take 4 draws and 1 win with those games- 7 points.

Hull and Forest at Home now- could be 6 points to put us back in the mix

Hull just thrashed Millwall 4-1, I don't think they're going to be an easy 3 points.

Weren't you the one saying we had a great squad capable of promotion?

Most other people could see that it was as thin as Vicky Beckham with no strength in depth.

Most teams will hammer Easy Millwall, it doesn't prove anything. <cheers>

We've got options that include Gray, Varney, Poleon & EHD.

    If we're going to play 442 ...

Grays too much like Becchio, so I think this is a non-starter.
Varney is a sub at best, IMO.
I don't know much about Poleon's capabilities or style(s), so can't really pass comment.
EHD - probably our only option.

So agree with Colinanxer's team ...

    ..............Kenny
    Peltier Lees Pearce Drury
    Byram Austin Tonge White
    .........Becchio EHD

If it's 433/4231 we're going to play (which it probably should be at home) ....

    ..............Kenny
    Peltier Lees Pearce Drury
    ........Austin Tonge
    .....Byram EHD White
    ...........Becchio

PLEASE stop with the tricky start, Wolves and Peterborough are ****, they are the bottom two teams ffs, big deal we beat the two teams propping up the bottom of the division. If we are not going to take maximum points off the Blackburns when we are at home and steal points from Cardiff and Blackpool type teams we are going to have to accept mid table plodding. Hull, Leicester, Brighton and a host of other teams are on par with those so it is going to be more of the same...

6 points from Hull and Forest who both have superior teams than us, who are both playing better football?? We will be lucky to take a point from our next two games and if we are in the top half of the table by this time next week it will be a minor miracle.

I gave Warnocks signings a chance, I have seen enough to know we are not easier to beat or break down, we are weaker than last season and the quicker we come to accept we are average minus the less pain for everyone.

    No.

I said we had a solid squad that would be happily mid-table. That's why my prediction in the PenshawDave comp does not have LUFC in the top 6.

It is one that needed one or two more for the icing on the cake that could turn it into a promotion squad.

Looks like it's more than one or two we're in need of.

Warnock did say a few weeks back he had three big signings lined up. Obviously that was subject to finance being made available. Money didn't appear and subsequently, neither did the top signings. We're going to pay for it now with the injuries building up and a pathetically small squad. Will be some fun if Becchio was to pick up an injury
