Yeah too be fair the royal tits arent too disimilar to our defence. Flat and look older than what they are :)

Also got to agree about some of the personal insults especially towards gomarchingin. Saying about people killing themselves? Not really on

They looked like a fairly ordinary pair of female breasts to me. I suppose if the only others you've seen are on porn stars then they would be relatively disappointing.

I thought the photos were pretty disappointing. Not the boobs, just didn't get as good a look as I wanted :( Still, seen the future queen's funbags, so that's something.

The quality of the photo is disappointing, yes, but to call them "flat and look older than what they are" seems to be a little excessive. Those are normal boobs.

There are lots of opinions which I don't share on here, and yet I have never felt the need to resort to personal insults towards those who expressed them. This thread was always going to get a reaction, but why not just criticise the view, not the poster?
Everyone agrees that we need to improve our defence. Jenny is quite right about it not being easy to just sign the right players in the Premier League and I can't believe that NC and NA haven't being trying to get the right players. In the meantime, we have to remember that we have just played the three of the top four sides in the EPL, have scored more goals than the 11 teams above us in that league, and scored the only goal which our opponents today have conceded this season. Why is there no thread on here celebrating our attacking prowess?
I just hope we win our next game. Folks on here get so crabby when we lose, however expected that loss might be.

Can we discuss the Royal photos on the off-topic thread please? Carefully.

In regards to our defence, I don't think it's **** - any Prem Team in the lower half will have their defences torn apart by the top sides at some point

I do, however think we should have signed another CB & LB in the window

On a serious note. I can understand NA's trail of thought with only bringing Yoshida in.

However, my biggest issue in terms of transfers was, as I said at the time - Kelvin needed replacing. I think we may regret that.

Oh well. On to the next. COYR.

If you're going to criticise the defence, at least spell defence correctly, or if you are unable, at least add a UK Dictionary to your browser, so that people who can spell correctly don't examine the validity of your argument by the academic level of your vocabulary.

Yes, the defending today was terrible. Arsenal are in a real high, as before today they had made their best start for years, and with their attack clicking like a metronome, it didn't take much to see through a back four of an up-and-coming U21 RB, a pretty good but exposed Portugese CB, a fairly immobile Dutch CB, and a Scottish LB who scored and that's the best thing he did all day, because he was out of his depth here. Together, they're not the best by any stretch of the imagination, when pulled around by the 3rd best team in the PL, and probably the best play making side in the League, at the moment. But there will be days when they will cope. I'm hugely disappointed with today. Not with the loss, but the manner of the loss. We expected one win from the first four fixtures and we didn't beat Wigan. Well, welcome to the PL and a baptism of fire. It'll get easier.

In context, the UK spelling is defence, with a C.

However, both are acceptable and technically correct, so to criticise (or should I say criticize) is taking pedantry too far.

No, you should say criticise. Criticize is the US English spelling.

I think I ought to make myself clear. I don't enjoy bad spelling at all. I don't mind unfortunate, accidental typos, but using US spelling in the UK is loose, in my opinion. As a former manager, I turned down job applicants who couldn't spell properly. I was not in the minority. Take note.

And when I'm in a bad mood, as I am this evening, I am especially intolerant of bad spelling, and I will measure the validity of someone's opinion by the clues I get in their text.

The OED (which I'm sure you'll agree is a fairly reliable source) lists the suffix -ize as standard. So, criticize it is!

Dear or dear, where did you learn to spell, Dan..? You don't even know what is correct, so you're having to check. I actually don't need to. I learned correct spelling.
