I'd be really interested to know if Rodgers is trying to implement the possession football we have all heard about. If he is, he really needs to give Gerrard a good rollicking, as every game this season he has not changed his outlook and is consistently giving away the ball looking for a high risk pass.

Borini good play, Shelvey isn't impressing me too much today. For me, he should be on the bench more, starts are excellent when he's fighting for them. He's really good when competitive, however when he's got nothing to motivate him he's a bit mindless. Soon he'll be mentally ready for a regular starting position, but not quite yet. I'd rather see Sahin. Also, Suarez needs to run with the ball more, as opposed to first time thinking. Just my opinion.
