Clyne has been decent defensively. If you have the ball, fullbacks don't overlap. One defender can't deal with multiple players, but he can deal with one and Clyne does that well. On the floor, wingers rarely beat him.
We must learn from Wigan, they are getting smashed today and have done in the past and looked soft in defence, however they have learned to stay up despite this.

terrible performance really. why should we not be annoyed by this? atleast when we lost before it was with a bit of dignity and misfortune. Today we were ****ing crap, all over the pitch. Are you referring to years ago in our annual struggle ? We did have Le Tissier and some old heads around him and ALWAYS one quality centre back and pretty good keepers , always , we dont have that , I fear the happier ones can not remember what its like to be belted every week , it was sort of ok then as we had no money at all and we expected to struggle and we did but it was always a journey , we have been promised the earth , all I want personally is a side that can perform at this level , we have the money , we need to spend it .
