On the 4 minutes thread, he's throwing abuse at me claiming I'm ''points scoring''. I wasn't, I was only suggesting that next week, If one side starts, the other side will retaliate. He called me a dickhead for suggesting as much. As if to say, Manchester United fans would never do such a thing. Guess what they are doing it today, and that snide is standing up for them.
I know mate. There is no point debating with Utd fans. They really are morons and are so blinded by their lord and saviour Fergie that they can't accept what is happening before their very eyes. Rednose came out in the week saying that both sets of fans need to stop the offensive chants etc. I have never in all my life heard Liverpool fans chanting about Munich, maybe it happens in very very small groups, but i have never heard it. Utd fans chanting about Hillsborough happens every time the sides meet. And you can very clearly hear it, even over the telly. ****ers the lot of them.
Let's try and keep this thread strictly for the match, don't want or need every single thread to be arguments about Hillsborough/with Mancs.
On a consistent basis they sing the ''We did it without killing anyone'' song. Is that not having a dig?
Rumoured team - Reina Kelly Skrtel Agger Johnson Allen Shelvey Gerrard Sterling Suarez Borini Would be happy with that, but would rather see Borini in the middle and Suarez down the right.
During LFC v Man Utd matches over the years I have sat with LFC and Man Utd fans, home and away. I've heard both sets of fans singing disaster songs. I always tell them (either set) that it's disrespectful - but I usually will get shouted down, or told that 'they started it' or some other ****e. They insist that the opposition fans are scum for singing these disgusting songs and so do it right back. IMHO, you can't take any high moral ground if you then do the same as them. Pure Hypocrisy. I admit that it is, in the context of the capacity crowds, a minority - but we're not talking negligible numbers here or else they wouldn't get heard, would they? All football teams have fans which do it, and it's wrong. But, until we all do our bit and shame these people, it's going to continue. As someone once said, "Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing". It may seem a touch cliche and grandiose but I think there's a massive amount of truth in that statement. We need to unite against these bigoted morons to prevent them ruining the sport we love!
Yes CCC, exactly, no you started it, no talk of retaliation or provocation, no generalisation (saying all united fans etc) for them to hide in. Either you own the moral ground with "wrong is wrong "or you are among the scum. Enough of this there apparently is a thread for it called 4 minutes. Haven't read back since yesterday, did Suso make the final 18?
I understand your sentiment, but when was the last time a captain was dropped for poor performances? I genuinely have no idea. They usually get a lot more leeway.
Official team Reina, Kelly, Agger, Skrtel, Johnson, Shelvey, Gerrard, Allen, Sterling, Borini, Suarez. Subs: Jones, Enrique, Sahin, Assaidi, Henderson, Downing, Carragher Disappointed no Suso, would've rather seen him on the bench than Downing but ho-hum.

not too happy with that, think Gerrard needs to be pushed up and take borini's place on the wing, sahin in CM instead. I think Lucas' injury shows just how much we rely on him, we were a structural mess against arsenal with no natural holding midfielder
