He is a young lad we were linked with this summer, along with several others it has to be said but he remained with Palace. Just watched him tonight v Charlton and I've got to say at times he looks explosive and others very naive. He is way off an EPL player but has some potential and maybe we will keep an eye on him over the next 12 to 18 months. However, after we gambled £8m on Connor Wickham at a similar age and with mixed returns I think we did well to stay away this summer. I'm not saying Zaha wont be a top player but just not at this time imo.
Rate Tom Ince a better player Zaha I have seen a few times and looks good but a diver and a cheat who whinges...a lot, a lot to learn Matthew Phillips also showed he bottled bigger games in playoff final although can be a good player Tom Ince has looked good in all matches I've seen him and I'm pretty sure his goal tally is good considering he's a winger/midfielder
Looks like a powerful direct runner, has the odd trick but wouldnt get anwhere near our first team. as you say, maybe in 12 months he will have matured his game a bit and we could have a look then, but just not now IMO.
of zaha, tom ince and matty phillips i think ince is the best one, but i think zaha will end up being a top class player. if the price isn't too steep (say £5-6m max), i can see us moving for zaha in the next year, i think he's an o'neill kind of signing.
