Rodgers Thats BR (Bull$hitter Rodgers) gives reporter Lisa Rogers the inside track on his departure from Swansea and defends his decision to make that big-money move for Allen that only served to fuel the bitterness felt in some quarters.

And the Northern Irishman explains how he's dealing with Liverpool's tumultuous start to the season that currently sees the famous old club slumped inside the Premier League relegation zone.

Looking at the clip it's good to see that he's acknowledged that our Club was "on the up" when he arrived and in his two years he simply added to it, as will Laudrup. Nothing in the clip about Allen but I doubt any tough questions were asked.

But I have to say the bottom line for me is that I'm sick of the guy and am much more excited about Swansea City than Liverpool.

    Well said KJ <ok>

I'm so much more excited about our club now, with ML in control and the new boys performing so well, than I ever was when Bubble Boy was here.

Will be interesting to hear what he has to say about the Allen deal. But as other's have said, in the past now, and other (better) things to concentrate on.

A limp interview - no searching questions about the Allen transfer asked at all.

Why do a feature about Liverpool, any of Welsh clubs would love the publicity but no, the man wants to speak and the masses must listen

I never watched as I have zero interest in what he has to say. But why this is being done by BBC Wales is bizarre as he's in England now. Far better that they actually do a programme on the Welsh clubs who are all doing well, and deserve air time

He's still a smoothie - glad to see Scouseland hasn't added any rough edges :afro:

As aswan_dam says though, very limp interview and Rodgers' pathetic attempts to justify breaking the agreement over Allen made absolutely no sense at all...all waffle and no truth, I'm afraid.
