    Pompey fan in peace.

I was very impressed by this lad playing for England in the last two World Cup qualifier matches , the son of course of former Pompey and England player Mark Chamberlain.

What are the chances of him playing and scoring with maybe Theo Walcott also scoring against their former club Southampton this weekend?

    All the best Gooners!

Walcott seems to have let his contract worries distract him from his playing. I think the lad is letting his agents run his business affairs, which is fine, as long as he doesn't let them run his life as well. I am a little worried about Theo because he had managed to work his way into the team, and that is a very hard thing to do. He may just be letting his agents talk him out of the team again.

Alex on the other hand, is still on his way up. The fans are still behind him, but he has a very tricky job becoming a first-team regular, because I think Wenger sees him as a box to box midfielder, so he has some big names to move past , to get into the team. If Diaby doesn't play, it will be interesting to see if Alex gets the shout.

I suspect it is still too soon for him to start and we will see Ramsey or Coquelin come in. I think you may not see either of them except as subs this week-end. Or of course, I could be wrong and they will both play the entire game.

Well you should have enough quality players to score a hatful of goals this weekend against a struggling and of course bottom of the table Saints side. But it does seem that former players , nearly always, seem to score against their former clubs!<ok>

But more often than old players scoring against former clubs, is a certain pimpy fan popping up on ALL the boards of Southampton's next opponents.
You need to do something more original Sb, your popping up on our next game opponents boards is almost as regular as Portsmouth going into Liquidation.

Not quite true Sb as you know, a pimpy fan had been playing Pinocchio but was found out, good job you have plenty of room at falling down park so he can get his nose in.
A little bit sad don't you think ?

Can someone please help me. Does anyone know how to cancel a bid on e-bay. I was looking for a Mickey Mouse outfit for a fancy dress party and now I'm only five minutes away from owning Pompey <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>
