If he had the funding, he would have wasted it because he knows nothing about scouting apart from buying his old players.
Selling Gorkss and getting DJ, getting in Puncheon. Then setting us back massively by getting SWP and Barton on huge wages when they were no better than what we had.

    Terrible management.

We just seem to have a different idea of the same situation mate. The way I seen it, COLIN treated him like Royalty the first season and then decided to treat him like the rest of the squad, IE the way it should always be. The little brat then started throwing his tantrums because he still wanted to be treated specially even though we were now in the PL.

I still regret the day we ever signed him. I know that's cutting my nose off to spite my face but I'd love it if we could get rid of him and let him be someone else's problem.

He took sheff utd down after the tevez scenario. He was well on the way to doing it again???? Where did he leave us and where did we finish. Its hilarious that there are so many warnock haters now but they weren't about when we flying high in the championship.

He took Notts County down from the top division and it was not simply where he left us, we were in free fall not having won for months and it was showing no signs of changing. Hughes had to stop that free fall and reverse it and he did just that.

I am on record stating that I would have sacked him in the summer after the promotion and bought in a PL manager, its not hindsight, I knew hed fail and he did.

You said PL and its a miracle he even got them there - forget about keeping them up. I happen to agree that he's not a great Manager but Hughes has been no better so far, despite spending about 20 million since.

    This.

In fact Hughes if anything has been worse. I hope I'm made to eat my words.

Warnock will always be a Rangers legend to me and I'll never say a bad word against him.

Warnock signed Barton, an error worthy of the sack in any case. When he got in his new pet (and captain) Taarabt wasn't flavour of the month any longer. That's the only grudge I hold over Warnock, I loved him and still hold him in the highest regard as he represented the club in a way that made me proud from day one.

Its not different than what he did to Gorkss is it? I wouldnt have let him set us back years with his awful signings.

I was proven right, he isnt a PL manager and he was proven wrong as Gorkss in a PL player.

THIS <ok>. It amazes me that QPR people can talk so much pure S*** about the Manager who steered us from the brink of Relegation to League 1, to PL Mid-Table in a season and a half, and won us the Championship along the way. All with a meltdown by the Club owners going on behind him, and no funding most of the last summer before we took the step up to the PL. Colin will always be a true QPR legend for me.

I just believe that he actually treated Taarabt a bit roughly near the beginning of last season, not just the same as the rest of the team.

If you treat a player like a king and then the next season (after he'd played a big part in the promotion) try to kind of shock the player and bring him crashing down to Earth, it's sort of unprofessional and a bit shady. It's not the best way to work with people, really.

Can someone please ban this cross dresser ... If you knew the same about football that you know about middle aged women's clothing you could be a dangerous pundit. Alas stick to the pleated twin sets and nylon blouses. Taarabt remains our most skilful player by a country mile why would you another team to have him?. Can you not see the vision that this player has ... anymore of this talk then you should be banned

Warnock turned us around and took us up. For that alone he will always be a great QPR Manager in my book. Yes he made mistakes but we all do.

No-one can say what would have happened if he hadn't been sacked but thats water under the bridge.

I've met him a few times and he hes a great bloke, he personally got me tickets for many PL games last season.

I was disappointed in his signing of EHD after the Mackie incident but again who knows whats going on behind the scenes
