    If I was a Newcastle player I would prefer winning the Champions League, as Newcastle would always come before country.

    However, if I played at any other club I would prefer to win the World Cup.

    Cheers guys you have restored my faith in human kind...... all though as AG said sharing a hotel with rooney and ferdinard doesnt sound ideal at all

    International football is ****e, so purely on that basis it would be the Champions League for me.

    Look how close the poll is.

    I'd say, if it was between England winning the WC or Newcastle winning the CL, I'd choose Newcastle every time.

    As you said:
    Then I'd have to choose the World Cup.

    As a fan, the Champions League.

    As a player, I'm undecided, but I went for the World Cup.
