To be honest i don't think any member of our team should shake his hand if he plays. If some idiot decided to snub two of my team mates hands then i wouldn't shake their hand. I can sort of understand him not shaking JTs hand in some weird way even though JT was proven not guilty and Anton didn't hear **** all in the first place but to not shake Ashleys hand would be pathetic and show what a lowlife Anton is considering Cole was the one called a choc ice by Rio. This dickhead deserves nothing if he snubs Cole and i hope the rest of the team will proceed to snub him.
Not bothered if he snubs Terry's hand, it's Cole's I'm fussed about. Anton has done nothing wrong during this trial, don't understand anybody's hatred for him (although, I always though he was a bit of a bellend before this saga). The handshake should be abandoned altogether.
Exactly my point Drogs. Terry is at least a bit understandable. Not shaking Coles just makes him absouletely pathetic though. If anything he should be shaking it and then when we play Man U Rio should be shaking it and saying sorry
Am I the only one not arsed if anyone shakes anyone's hand before the game? Football survived for 150 years without it.
I agree, why shake hands if none of them mean it? They spend the next 90 minutes or so abusing each other.
Completely agree; it's a nothing story fuelled by the papers. They'll be roasting girls in Sanderson together and doing Jaegerbombs in Mahiki again before you know it.
I think its time this business was put to bed! They are supposed to be role models , so why cant they live up to it and show they act like leaders and grown ups? They should all shake hands!
I think Ferdinand should offer to shake both Cole's and Terry's hands, and leave it to them to show if they are man enough to reciprocate. I will be disappointed with him if he refuses to shake anybody's hand.
Really don't give a **** about the whole overblown issue, pathetic attention seeking arse holes that are the ferdinands should grow some.
It's ridiculous. How much time have these idiots got on their hands that they're negotiating a ****ing handshake? "Anton will only do it Terry's wearing a QPR shirt" "Well Terry says he'll only do it if he can cross his fingers" Either the FA should scrap the whole thing or tell them to sort out there differences off the pitch, on the pitch they can treat the game as a game and shakehands or take a whacking great fine for being a fanny. They've already set precedent for not doing the later though so I guess the former as the only proper option, if you ignore the usual "watch the FA sit on their thumbs" routine. Which reminds me, why haven't they sorted out the appeal by now?
By 'appeal' do you mean Terry's hearing? Its been set for 24th Sept. From what I understand, it could all be a non-issue. Terry has his injury issues and from what I've heard from some QPR fans, Ferdinand might not be playing on merit.
Hope he does. His backside went when he played at the Bridge last time as did all the Rangers players, they couldn't handle the atmos of the Bridge. I haven't seen a side crumble like that at the Bridge fro years. They seemed overawed by the occasion: a derby and potential relegation and a bouncing SB after we'd just beaten the best team in Europe
