Toon - Man Utd - Bordeaux

    Following on from our away trip to Man Utd and three days before we meet them again at SJP on Sun 7th Oct we entertain Bordeaux in the Europa League on Thursday the 4th.

    Once again the prices for this competition have been set at £15 for adults and £5 for concessions. A good chance for non ST holders to go to the game for less than the price of a couple of pints and hopefully see us progress further in the competition. Of course we won't be seeing a first team XI turn out but it should be a decent game and a chance to see some of our promising youngsters strut their stuff.

    Might be a bit of silverware for us at the end of the competition, so something to remember for a long time.

    Good prices, £15 to watch Newcastle v Bordeaux is a very good price. As for winning it will be tough but if we get the right luck, then you never know.

    Should help to get a few more through the gates and create a better atmosphere. It'll help the team that little bit more to hear a bit of encouragement.

    Yeah, I know it'll be on in the sports bar on campus for sure. It's just not quite the same, I'd have been gutted if I had to watch last years Manure game on TV. <laugh>

    I've kept my season ticket though, gonna sell the tickets for games I can't make, and gonna try to make it to as many of the big games as I can, City's in the Christmas break and the mackems are at Easter.
