    23 Years…

23 years of pain, 23 years of lies, 23 years of blame
Lies, cover ups and threads of deceit were spun as the days rolled on.
Tell us, show us, and prove us wrong we demanded,
    And yet, they were silent!
The day the truth came out shook the very foundations of Britain
As the finger was turned away from the victims
And finally aimed in the right direction!
Why so long we asked, as we looked at each other for strength,
The truth was out, there was nowhere to hide
The establishment had been found out!
Lord give us the strength as we embark on one final journey,
This journey is the end of the road for us all
As we can now stand tall and proud and shout

    ***Justice for the 96!***

No problem at all, it actually brought a tear to my eye. Today is an emotional day, even for Liverpool fans not from Liverpool.

    Hi All.
    Southampton fan in peace.
The news today is great news for everyone involved in the Hillsborough tragedy.
The lies by South Yorkshire police, the absolute filth printed in The Sun and the sheer bloodimindedness of the Thatcher regime have all been brought to light and they should all hang their heads in shame.
I was 16 when this happened, but I was and still am a passionate football fan and even at that age, I knew that what the media and the authorities were saying was absolute rubbish and I think every real football fan in the country felt the same way.
I have nothing but admiration for the people of Liverpool, for the dignity they showed in dealing with such horrific circumstances and in my humble opinion justice has been done.
Well done you, and best wishes to the family of the 96.
