he's not at the level we want. we're a championship club aiming for the prem, we need lower-end prem quality players.

Don't rate him myself. The goal he scored against us was poor, really should've been saved.

Yeah Dean Windaas was waaayyy past it in our promotion season. It really showed in his set up play and finishing technique. And that Rickie Lambert, how dare he score goals in the PL at 31. Ditto Grant Holt.

Age means Absolutley **** all. There is no rule that says once you hit 30 you suddenly turn ****. Its just an illusion created because so many younger players break through these days.

Personally have nothing against his age.
Just can't believe he'll be good enough for us when he can't even get a game for Bournemouth.

We're not really suggesting we look at signing a 28 year old who can't get into the squad of a club currently 15th in League One?

If we're taking a punt, we'd be better off looking at Jose Baxter.

Yes he does and thats why he went there. New manager since then with new ideas. Matt Tubbs has gone backwards but maybe a move to Portsmouth or Scunny would be better for him.

Agreed. Matt Tubbs is nowehere near the required standard for Hull City ambitions.

I'm not saying oh let's sign him; I'm just saying in dire circumstances would it be a bad loan signing to make? But yeah looking into it he's obviously taken many steps backwards to not be able to get into the Bournemouth team; bet Crawley wouldn't even take him back now! Scunthorpe would have been a decent move for him if they hadn't just signed two strikers.

I don't really know what's going on there financially at the moment, but they've still only got a total first team squad of 20 players.

He was doing quite well at New York Red Bulls, but they wouldn't renew his visa and he had to leave.

Irrespective of whether he's good enough for us or not (he's not), what would be the point in going for him anyway? He wants to leave Bournemouth to get more games under his belt....he certainly wouldn't get them here.
