They are doing it in Divisions this year like H2H. Also doing it with UT too, but you also get packs as prizes if you get promoted etc...
There are more tricks but they seem to be a bit more flowing, it allows you to run a bit more freely with the ball and do the unthinkable... go past the computer with a trick which I could barely ever do on the last one (can take on people online no issue but that's different) the first touch is much better, you can strike the ball in tight spaces without some lame shot coming off and you can actually shoot across goal without it going straight to the goalkeeper every time. All in all I'm impressed. As usual you will only find out where the holes are when you start playing your mates.
Sorry to spoil the party but do we have any Pro Evo players on here? The new demo for it is a massive improvement on PES 12, they've really gone and put some thought into it this year rather than just changing random things willy nilly, the only downside is that it seems a bit easy because everything flows so nicely. Hopefully on the final version the CPU will be a bit harder.
You only get four or five teams on the demo, so you'll have to wait for the game to come out to find out.
£42.99 at HMV :| Think i'll wait till the release date and hope ASDA or somewhere offers it for cheap
A lot better than 12, more realistic, even just adding a few PES things like subs warming up, board etc. can't wait to be City.
I've been watching some videos on YouTube over the past two days. The new training features look ****ing amazing, but I'm really pissed off about Tottenham being included as 'Spurs'. That's not their ****ing name, EA
Had a fair few goes on it yesterday, I agree the training sessions are really good, wil help alot of people improve on it, I could never master free kicks on the last one, but had a good practice on them already on this one, really helpful. The Collision engine has been sorted so instead of getting penalised every time you use your body to win the ball or touch the other player , you come away with the ball. Liking the first touch too miles more realistic, seems alot harder to break defences down but more realistic. Whats the issue with updates etc? Pretty sure i read somewhere that the game will be updated regarding transfers injurys pretty regular, RVP to man utd etc and will happen in game as they happen in real life. Added a few of you RocknRolla69ers my tag cheers chaps
It does. PS3 have Fifa 13 coming out first, whereas Xbox have Call of Duty or whatever it is coming out first. That's what I got told anyway.
Manager's should sign players that are highly rated on Fifa. I had Raheem Sterling on loan to City last year without even realising who he was! Oh wait, hasn't that already been done by a couple of managers?
I normally only play pro clubs as i get bored easily with the AI on most games , so ill not get a real chance to see if its better , but from the demo the defending seems more polished , i still fume like Mourinho with an abscess when i pass to a team mate and have to watch him wait for the ball to move to him rather than he meet the ball arrrgh
Finally got it working, a little disappointed. It's more like a patch for FIFA 12 - rather than any real new features (in terms of gameplay, at least) they seem to have just fixed the major bugs of '12 that should never have been there in the first place, like the crazy-ass reactions to getting touched in the impact engine. Although I will admit I like the first touch system - I thought it'd be full of frustration but it makes it far more unpredictable and players do perform some quality first touch flicks to get you into better positions as opposed to what I was expecting (only touches that would be disadvantageous)
