R Bennett I think is with England u21s and I think Rudd or Steer is with one of the england youth teams.
To be fair fellas, Sterling has been Liverpool's bright spark. His decision making lets him down but he is a quality player with a lot of potential. The cynic in me can't help but wonder whether we are giving him an early cap before Jamaica move in. Lallana has been fantastic for Southampton, Howson has started the season slowly and his performance against Fulham wouldn't have impressed the onlooking Roy. I honestly think Roy will pick who he wants, regardless of who they play for as long as he feels they can do a job.
anyone know if Alex Tettey is in the current Norway squad for the WC qualifiers? can't find anyything on it

I do rate Adam Lallana but his cross accuracy has been really poor these first few games and for someone who I believe to be playing predominantly out wide I really hate that, surely that should be one of the key parts to his game?
going back to the OP, wasn't Roy hodgson at the cottage for the opening game? Hardly a ringing endorsement for any of our midfielders after that performance.
The way England are set up is just generally poor. If you were given a choice of Hodgson or Hughton as the manager of NCFC what would it be? I'd pick Hughton every day. I don't hate England, and I will always support them because it's my birth rite, but I find it so hard when they are lead by an FA I'm convinced are completely clueless and have put us decdes behind other nations in terms of football development.
Here's a thought, slightly OT but why is Lallana still at soton and not at one of the big boys? You look at Bale, Walcott, The Ox and Surman to name a few who have moved on to way bigger things, why havent any of them shown an interest in Lallana? I know he's good, but is he THAT good!
I was reading earlier he had a health scare when he was 18, might have put some off. Also he has shown some loyalty I guess
I'd say pace, he's not very quick but he's technically superb. Same as Pilkington, if he was lighting quick he'd be a top 6 player IMO. Although, how is Milner a top Prem team standard? The guy is pretty ****e, but works his socks off. The England team is ****e down the right flank, Johnson and Milner just don't do it for me. I guess I am a little surprised that Lallana hit called up but Sinclair didn't.
Hasn't Adam lalalala played most of his football in the Championship/League 1 though? How is playing 3 Premiership games enough for him to get the call but not enough for a consistent Howson? Just waiting for Hodgson to call Rickie Lambert up next for scoring 2 goals so far this season, just to really rub salt into Holty's wounds.
He has however, Roy obviously wants to play someone in the "hole" behind a lone striker, Lallana fits the bill for that. Although he'll only sit on the bench anyways.
