I think we have to trust ML judgement on this. I know the options list is short but, the manager hasnt made a bad signing yet. lets hope he continues.
Bit disappointed if I'm honest. I was hoping for someone of higher profile (ability) such as del Horno or de Grosswhatever. I have a feeling that this team of ours could surprise a few people this season and do really well but, as we all know, defence is our weakest link and we need as high quality as is available for us to kick on. Cove's summary didn't fill me with confidence but I'm hoping that ML will keep up his good record regarding signings and has seen something in the player that he can work on.
BBC reports that he's signed now, so only time will tell. I have the utmost faith in ML – he's done nothing wrong so far, so here's hoping this guy's up to the mark...
Dutch news now confirms: Tiendalli signs 1 year contract with Swans> Sauce: http://www.nu.nl/sport/2906016/tiendalli-jaar-swansea-city.html

Well, let's wait and see what he can do. His transition to South Wales should be smoothed by the presence of our other Dutch players, and that can only help him. So,welcome to Wales' only Premier League Club,Dwight.
Rangel, Bartley, Williams, Davies Can't see Tate or Monk being anywhere except on the bench. Hope I've got that right. Breezy, I like Jazz R as well but I think Davies is a specialist LB (think I'm right on that) and has done well at this level so far. Deserves a start imo, with Tiendalli on the bench. The tricky prediction will be the Dyer/ Routledge/ Hernandez one. Imo the latter should start on the bench as should Ki. The reason? Neither of our wingers nor De Guzman deserve to be dropped after their last outing. It's up to the new boys to show they deserve a start, but both are fantastic players to bring on late in the game. Ki to steady the ship if needs be, and Hernandez to terrorise defenders with tired legs. Can't wait.
Tate will play even if he starts or subbed just like he has in the last two games where he did an excellent job....If he is good enough for the bench then he is good enough to play....
