    Good afternoon everyone!
Now next week for me is a first trip to the "Beautiful" (sarcasm) Elland Road of Leeds United but the question is... how the hell do I get home? Which is the best way? Does anyone know how long it takes to get from the ground > Leeds Train station after the game? Or is it best to risk Tiger Travel again, although after Charltongate (which they still haven't even responded to my refund claims) I'm hoping to god I don't get stuck in traffic again.

You'd think with my screen name I'd know this stuff... but as I'm not living there this year, need to get home. Shall be wearing my Tigers shirt with pride from 9am in Leeds that day :p so if I don't get killed, see you all there!

I'm going Tiger Travel with a few of the lads! Although they have the tickets including mine so whether they troll me and bring someone else is yet to be seen...

If you want to walk or get the bus back to the train station, I suggest you wear a jacket over your Hull shirt.

It's about a half hour walk; you go to McDonalds opposite to the Bremner Statue, turn right and follow the masses over the motorway bridge, along parallel to the motorway past the United Bar (note of caution: this is a place you might not be warmly received in away colours), and past the ****ty terraced houses, through the park, up the slope (again next to the main road), and past Bridgewater Place (y'know, the tallest building in the North), then through the Dark Arches and turn left to get to the Station.

You can find the route on Google Maps fairly easily if you can't remember how that goes.

If you want to get the bus, walk past the East Stand to the bus bays where there are regular services which drop you off next to the train station. The queues will be huge though, and it's been known to take as long or longer than walking, especially if you're arriving from the away end in the West Stand.

    Enjoy your time in civilization.

If you are walking I would estimate it would take a good 20 mins or so to get to the station. I don't know if you could get a bus?

Thank you very much Jerel. Although my time in "civilization" has lasted 3 years as I'm a LMU student lol. But once again thanks for the directions :)

Yeah! If you carry on past the sign that says "You are now leaving the City of L**ds" you should find it pretty much anywhere. Except Barnsley, stay well away of that place.

However you travel would advise wearing the above within Leeds to avoid the contamination.

And don't go in a decent car, you'll get keyed, they're a bitter bunch over on the dark side.

Really? I've lived in Leeds for 5 years, all that time I've had Hull stickers in my car, never had it vandalised once, lucky me I guess!

Oh my 796cc old woman car will be fine then!

Trust me it's the closest thing ;). The only place in Leeds where there's another sane man... ANOTHER HULL CITY FAN (my main lecturer this year lol).
