At some time or other, most people earn a nick name, I've had one for 40 years. Who has the best of them? I don't like that bullshit wrestling, but "Stone Cold" Steve Austin ain't too bad.
I've had a few. Herman was a personal favourite, because apparently I looked a bit like Herman Munster at one time. Also Clark Kent, after the movies starring Christopher Reeves. Bastards wouldn't call me Superman though for some reason.
I was quite skinny as a kid and everyone called me Mowgli from the Jungle Book. I'm in my 40s now and some people still call me Mo....
Yeah, I still get JC or Jesus. As a matter of fact, I'm Uncle J to all my nieces and nephews. One actually thought my name was Jay. lol.
My nickname was given to me by my primary school football coach. Just a part of my surname with y at the end of it. The annoying thing is my bro got the same nickname 2 years previously and now we share the same one. People who know both of us use wee and big infront to define which one is which.
Pud has been my nickname since I was about 7... Me n my mate where hitting golf balls around his back garden and I hit one really hard, right through kitchen window and hit his Dad... he came out n callled my a "bluddy puddin so ye are!" It stuck then was shortned to Pud! I'm 35 and still known as Pud! A lot of people dont even know my 'real name'! Also, got called Franco for a while (middle name) which thankfully died a death after a month or two..
