Dubs- all the sweets are still available!

Swap Shop, Why Don't You? and Not the Nine O'Clock News were my favourites. Even got the latter in audio on a good old cassette tape.

    "Do you take American Express?"

"Certainly Sir. And would you like to put your head in between my tits and go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

Music in the 70s - late 70s - was best there ever was in the punk, ska and heavy rock genre. 80s saw the onset of Indie, New Wave and New Romantics. The general pop music may have been pretty rubbish, but some of the mid- late 80's music was awesome (that's why so much of it is copied now)

Yorkie Radio plays a lot of 80s and 70s, but much of it is the pop stuff rather than the better stuff

Ohhh I so wanted one of those...

I never got a Chopper bike either :(

I ***DID** have a subscription to Warlord, Battle comics

And for a brief time in 1975-76, a subscription to Action comic. (I was born in 1962, my first ever Leeds game was in Sept 1967 watching us come from behind to beat Rotherham 3-2 in the League Cup - Terry Cooper scoring the winner)

Action was a SERIOUS comic. I mean serious!

It was a giant V sign to authority...so naturally it was closed down :(

    Born in 68.

Used to live near a tyre centre and they would inflate innertubes for us when it snowed - had great fun on the local golf course.

Games - British Bulldog, one side off, block 123.

Smoking and spitting all the time because it made me feel sick.

We lives near a disused railway tunnel that we would walk to the back of with torches http://www.forgottenrelics.co.uk/tunnels/gallery/harrogate.html

Grew up with a Sinclair Spectrum then an Amiga. Literally spent hours at a time on the Spectrum - too many games to mention. Anyone remember Crash magazine?

Spangles anyone? Woolies reprised these sweets a few years ago.

Lastly, music and the best band the world has ever heard.............SLF!!!!

I played kick the can in Belfast - maybe an Irish thing.

    Anyone remember these programmes?

    Here come the double deckers
    The Flashing Blade
    Robinson Crusoe

The last two were in black and white and used to be on BBC during the summer holidays. I never saw the last few episodes of them because we went back to school a week before the English

Anyone remember playing kerby on the street? Drawing goals and cricket stumps on walls. You never see that anymore, but I guess there isn't an app you can download to do it.

I was born 1993, but remember playing Kerby. Anyone used to play ghost knocking? Get a fishing wire, tie it to the door with something wooden, hide round the corner an pull it an let it go, equalling angry and confused people coming out the door with no idea whats going on

Was born in 85 so I got the latter half of the 80s but mainly remember the 90s.

It was all about Tugs, Raggydolls and Dangermouse. Used to love Fun House, Pat Sharpe came to my Uni in my 2nd year and bragged to the populous that he had, had relations with both of the twins. Around The Twist Theme Tunes wound me up and I hated that show.

First console I ever remember playing on was the Nintendo which a friend from up the street had then my mum bought me the original Game Boy (Like A Brick).

Do you remember Nerds and Dweebs being readily available with out having to go to these specialist sweet shops that Import them. Also who remembers Lucky Charms being on Supermarket Shelves.

I blame Rebecca Brookes for the whole Peado Hysteria and i really hope they throw the book at her If and when she goes to Court.
