Just back from watching Scotland draw with Serbia at Hampden Park and I have to say Snodgrass was pish poor. He tried hard to beat the Serbian defenders. but just lacked the pace to do so and eventually tried to get free kicks instead. Ross McCormack didn't get a game, despite Miller being useless and knackered by the 60th minute. My thoughts from today are that Scotland are as pish as I always thought and Snodgrass is not international class.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19467941 Sound like the manager had the same opinion Boab. Looks like he regreted not bringing the useless self important prat off sooner...
If you boys really think he is ****e and don't care about him anymore, why are you still creating articles about him ? Snodgrass was absolute class against Spudz, the best player on the pitch. Playing for the Jocks, he's got ****e all around him so perhaps on this occasion they just dragged him down to their piss poor level ?
If you knew me, you would know that I have been a massive supporter of Snodgrass for many years, I watched him play for Stirling Albion when we won promotion to the Scottish 1st Division and was delighted when he joined Leeds United a few seasons later. I know the lad has ability and on many occasions at Leeds United he showed just what he can do. I firmly believe he has made the right choice to move to a Premiership club and I wish him all the best. That said, his performance yesterday and on the other occasions I have watched him play for Scotland tell me he is not international class, this could be due to the players around him, however I would suggest these players are better players than most of the players he has played with at Leeds and Norwich. Some players are just not international class, in my opinion Snoddy is one of them. I would also suggest Charlie Adam is not international class and yet he remains playing in the Premiership.
Well Boab, I went to the Scotland match & I have a different view from you. There were loads of ****e players on display, and Snoddy would not be top of my list. Watch the match again and ask yourself who else got in crosses apart from Snoddy. Apart from a couple of Dixon efforts - no-one! You also seem to have ignored the fact that Snoddy did indeed get past the Serbs, only to be hacked down immediately by then, time after time, as they sensed rather quickly that the ref didn't want to use his cards. He did a lot better than you think, even with Hutton getting in his 'kin road all the time. I agree with you re. Miller. His time is up. Rhodes looked good in the short time he was given, and I'd like to have seen him in the middle, actually doing something with Snoddy's crosses. Naismith was AWOL apart form his howler miss. Morisson did nothing, and yes, you're right, Adams was hopeless. Pub player that can pass once or twice a match. Reminds me of Tubby Trundle's pathetic short stay with us. You've got to remember that Levein is a arse that makes even Bertie Vogts look good. The team were 'acting under orders', and I don't think 'attack' was on of those orders. No surprise from the man who thinks you don't need strikers in a line-up. I note you didn't specify alternatives to Snoddy. Are there any? Give him a chance!
Expressing an opinion is not frowned upon but probably more encouraged However, making another account so that you can agree with yourself is not And lets get one thing straight, I don't love bates and never have done however I thought (and still do think) that had the fans not turned on him leeds united could have been booming. The fans turning on him affected his plans and he didn't exactly react in the right way to get them back on side. I do now think its at a point of no return and he does need to leave (not because I personally think he was doing a terrible job
