The radio was making a big thing of it today. I thought it was a natural thing to do for him. He's always had a soft spot for them and he lives down the road. What could be better..?

I have to chuckle with the situation really, i have never liked Redknapp mainly through the fact of i would never trust the man, i believe he is not a honest person.
Only 6 months ago when his name was brandished around as England Manager, I said to many friends that he would never get the job as the FA probably feel the same and could not take the chance of any more mud being thrown at the man.
He had a top job at Tottenham and his name was apparently top of most football fans list for the England job, so my chuckle comes in the fact of only months later he is out of top flight football and has ended up back at Bournemouth.

I like Bournemouth and believe he will do a good job with his involvement in what ever capacity , and to prove he does have only football in his heart ( not brown envelopes ) he should hang his traveled hat up there.

I reckon it's the first step to him taking over the club. Imagine him as Chairman. He'd make Milan Mandaric look camera shy!
