    Team News:

Saints: Adam Lallana is expected to start after his fantastic display coming on against Brighton, although the decision on his fitness is likely to be made on Monday after Sunday's recovery. David Connolly may also be rewarded with a start and Dan Harding and Frazer Richardson will continue to be assessed, with Adkins likely to continue with the current full-backs - Butterfield and Dickson.

Hartlepool: With the 'Pools safe from relegation and safely in mid-table, manager Mick Wodsworth has given debuts to youngsters in recent games, including Goal-Keeper Andy Rafferty and Youth Team players Darren Holden and Josh Rowbotham. Defender Neil Austin and striker James Brown have been in reserve-team action, but are not yet ready to return.

    Form(last 8 games):

    Saints: WWLWWWDW

    Hartlepool: DLWDLLLW

    Predicted Saints Line-Up:

    -------------------Davis----------------
    --Butterfield---Fonte---Jaidi----Dickson--
    --Guly----Hammond---Chaplow--Lallana--
    -----------Lambert----Connolly----------

Subs: Bart, Harding/Richardson, Seaborne, Gobern, Forte, N'Guessan, Stephens.

Prediction: 3-0 Saints. No looking back now, Onwards and Upwards onto another 3 points and a confident win. 3 more wins.

We have to win this. Anything other than 3 points and today's heroics count for nothing!

Let's take one game at a time, keep chipping away and play with a smile on our faces. Cos to be honest saints you gave me an almighty smile on my face today!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, a packed stadium and 3 points, I'll start to believe!

No chance to get a breather here. The old Saints would lose this game after such a geat victory, but we are now the new Saints (and I don't mean that Welsh team that have appropriated our name).

Team looking good for Monday. Agree with others think Jaidi is due a well earned rest. Would like to see Lallana, Connolly & Seaborne all get a start with Jaidi on the bench for cover along with Forte as an impact sub.

Mustn't throw it now. If we have to lose a game, let it be Walsall when we're home and hosed. The fans will be so delerious, they'll hardly notice.

Start Connolly rather than Forte and maybe give Jaidi a rest. Not sure if Lallana will be able to start (Hopefully he will) but we have enough options if he can't. Hopefully a big crowd for this one to roar the team onto a massive 3 points.

I don't know much about Hartlepool but we need to keep winning. It would be nice to beat Hartlepool, Plymouth and Brentford so that we don't have to sweat it out on the last day. Finger's crossed!

Merrington was critical of Forte and Gobern yesterday and assuming his is right (and not his usually, negative self), I think they should be dropped. Not been that impressed with either whenever they have cropped up in the home matches. Chaplow is supposed to have been our best player which is good news as he has been out of sorts of late.

It will be interesting to see how Huddersfield now fair. They will easily win the next two home games but a trip to Brighton who have just lost at home for the first time is intriguing. I think that they may have got a point at least had the result turned out different yesterday but I think that Brighton might want to end the season on a a bang and makes things difficult.

More positive this morning, Ian :). However, forget the Brighton game and move on to next. Hartlepool are now the must win. Seems that Lallana is not 100% and that NA would rather not play him or just save him as an impact player. May be time to give Jaidi a rest; not criticising, he's been a giant for us so far, but big guys tire more easily especially in heat. I'm sure Brighton will be up to beat Huddersfield; they won't want to lose two games at the end of the season. COYR

I don't want to see too many changes myself. Jaidi clearly needs a rest, so bring Seaborne in for him. And obviously if Lallana is fit, then too should come on (for Forte). But I'm happy with keeping it at just that.

Please stop. We had all of the egg jokes in a recent post and I don't think I can face them again. They were bad enough first time round and when eggs repeat on you, well let's just say it's not pleasant.

Comfortable win tomorrow, 3 or 4-0

Safe 2-0 win for me. Maybe more if Hartlepool are already on their holidays.
