Anyone else love making their own custom set plays? I do, and some people rage quit when I pull them off. I would understand if I was like some people, and just made those ****ing ******ed set plays where everyone of your opponents players stands inside the 6 yard box, and you can't defend it. But my set plays take timing and skill, and they can be an arse to defend If I get them right.
I've got a bit bored with my passing style. I decided to play with West Ham. I added Jarvis and Carroll to the side. Why is Nolan only a 74 for finishing? He's a fantastic finisher. The only reason he'd get into anyones side, is leadership and goals. He's a fantastic instinctive finisher. He should be in the 80's. My team with WHU - ----Cole-------Carroll------- ----------Nolan-------------- Jarvis-----------------M.Taylor ----------Diarra-------------- Obrien---Collins--Tomkins----McCartney ----------Jaskilienen--------------- My set plays obviously work more often. I love whipping in inswinging crosses. In a way its easy, but just like passing and other methods, It takes skill to get any strategy from noob level to master. People just get mad because I can beat them in every way, and not use crappy skill moves. I beat Brazil using West Ham, and my opponent raged at me in messages. Brazil are possibly the best team in the game. Their defence is ****ing solid. They have so much pace and skill, plus passing ability. I beat him 1-0. I scored from, Ironically, a great bit of passing play. It's easy to beat more arseholes who use skill, just wait for them to come to you and tackle them, or body check them if necessary. All most of them do is wait for you to come to them so they can roulette you or do whatever other crappy little move they can think of.
Just went and bought Brotherhood 2nd hand for £13, got it home and opened the box, turned out they'd given me Revelations instead (£6 savings - milky bars are on me)...The online play is quality, but means the storyline makes no ****ing sense?
Might buy Pro Evo this year. Played the demo and quite enjoyed it. the only thing I dont like is the animations of the players controlling the ball, it looks poor. But dont have many other complaints. I love how big the pitch is in it. Much more realistic size than FIFA which has quite small pitches.
Nice little anecdote i thought id share; Mate started playing as Toon on FM, only advice I gave him was 'give Shola at least a few mins for both Mackem fixtures. He just text me saying it got to the first derby, he brings him on for the last 20 mins and instantly scores a brace! 2-0 & the Mackem slayer never ceases to amaze and inspire.

Just found an epic FM glich. I've used the editor to put Bigi in our team, and I'm now at the end of the first season, and just checking up on my players, I glanced at his 'favoured personnel' list. To which I was met by the words "Cheick Tiote" no less than 27 times!!!
Fifa 13 match -
Ba 82 Cisse 82 Ben Arfa 81 Cabaye 81 Colo 81 Krul 79???? Wtf??? Jonas 78 Saylor 77 - Meh. Should be higher. Simpson - 76 Santon - 75 - Probably due to him not being as defensively astute yet, which is why his rating is lower than we want it to be. His attacking ability wont count as much, as a defender. Anita - 75 Better than I thought they'd be, but Krul only a 79? ffs. Vorm is an 81 though...
Saylor probably would have been higher if he hadn't been out so much. Not being prejudiced or anything, but Krul is the best keeper I've seen in the Premiership.
Howard is an 81. Vorm is an 81. Krul is a 79? Coloccini been made an 81, but Mertersaker also an 81 Sessegnon is apparently an 83, according to another source. He better not be.
Tash, I've merged this into the gaming thread (which you asked to be stickied). All in one place then.
I don't care too much about Saylor not being technical, as long as he's good in the air, strong and good at marking.
Fifa 13 demo still not out. Apparently, though, Finesse shots are a lot harder to score, and it's harder to abuse pace due to the first touch stuff. The graphics look really good on the videos.
