What odds can you get for him playing less than 20 games in that time?

Close, there's rumour they're going to offer Del Piero a deal.

I'd of thought Torben Piechnik was a more realistic option...

Hasn't the Liverpool chairmen had the same problems with the teams he's invested in, in the US?

He could be hated if he keeps on making escuses and not investing. Not that i really care.

"Daniel Camolli was in charge of those deals from memory. He did not last long afterwards though at Liverpool"

Damien Comolli in fact. He's a friend of one of my trainees & he's currently out of work but not "hard up" according to his friend. No surprise there!

Moyes is staying at Everton until SAF gives up & retires. I would love to see Liverpool relegated, can't stand them. They cheated us in that 2-2 draw & that flukey Gerrard goal when we lost 6-1.

We got completely tonked in that 6-1, we can hardly have any complaints, it was men against boys(Sonko).

As things stand Stoke Dont have PL permission to play Owen. But i expect that to change before the next PL weekend of games. SSN this morning report that Only 5 PL club s have have declared 25 man squads. Those are Aston Villa - Norwich City - DQPR - Reading and Tottenham Hotspur. The big 4 have declared only 22 players. But many have also declared massive lists of players under 21 who are exempt from the main 25 man squads. Some serious loans will be done by FL clubs from friday imo when the emergency loan window opens up.

For those who dont get or read the London Daily Mail and FOR A GREAT READ AND A SPOT ON ASSESSMENT OF LIVERPOOL AT THE MOMENT CLICK ONTO THIS www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-2198312/Martin-Samuel-Brendan-Rodgers-youll-never-work-alone.html

Well whatever, we both know who i meant and he deserves to be OUT OF WORK for what he did last season. Shame he has money in the bank. What a :bandit: he is. imo.

Hardly a surprise if true. He would be in my top 5 for sure though along with Jose, Pep, Roberto M. and Ryan Giggs.

I agree with you on the first PL season. Both Gerrards goals in the 2-2 draw should have been disallowed for pushes on Turner but in front of the Kop Ref.Alan Wiley did not have the balls to do that sadly. Fact - End of.

As for the 6-1, totally burned that day and having Sonko in defence did not help. John Terry would have been hard pressed that day to keep the Reds out alongside Sonko. I felt for poor Liam Cooper that day. Phil Brown should have been flogged for that decision to play Coops with Sonko,, imo.

well the Liverpool owner also owns the Boston Red Sox and here it there wage bill for the current MLB season http://espn.go.com/mlb/team/salaries/_/name/bos/boston-red-sox

As somebody who has watched baseball for the best part of the last 12 years that wage total has decreased since Henry bought Liverpool and the team are a lot less competitive. The red sox have won the world series twice in the past 10 years but all of a sudden can't keep up with the big boys
