  1. I personally am thinking about changing my preference to Lover. He's scored more goals, and his goals are generally vital goals for us where a Ameobi scored 2 in the derby in which he normally scores.

Lover tries much harder every game, and has pace and decent ball control, and can be good against tired defenses.

Shola is a picnic for almost every defense in this league.

I say **** off Shola and good bye to Kuqi, keep Best and Lovenkrands, bring Airey in for a spell, send Ranger out on loan, buy 1 striker, sign another for a free or on loan.

We don't need lazy bastards, and 6 goals is ok for Lover since he's been our 4th choice.

Lovenkrands 6 goals and 5 assists.
Shola 5 goals and 5 assists.

So what do we want? Pace or Ariel threat? I think if we want to play quicker, better passing football, we should keep Lovern and get rid of Shola. We don't want lazy bastards, and Lover plays well with the right partner.

Lover was good partnered with Best, Shola is crap and lets us down nearly all the tmie. Lover and Best together works well.

When did this come about? Did he wave today?

What if Shola scores 2 against Liverpool?

On topic, I would rather keep Shola as back up target man.

Agree. If we want technical/mixed(not hoofing it to Shola) football.. this should be are line up for next week :

    Harper
    Simpson Willo Colo Enrique
    Barton Tiote Guthrie(oh **** he's injured..)* Guti
    Ireland
    Lover

*I don't rate Nolan. Yes his finishing ability is excellent(most of the times) but apart from that his GENERAL CM play is average. Too slow to be a box-to-box, too attacking-minded to be a DM.. Suppport striker is probably his best position. If we are going to play a 442 next season it has to be Barton and Tiote in the middle, Guti and Ben Arfa out wide and two out-out strikers. Although it'll probably be a 4231/4411 knowing Pardew loves his target man and he wants Ben Arfa in a AM position.

  5. Lovenkrands passing is good, and if it had been Lovenkrands to make the pass he would have assisted Shola, but Shola is ****e adn can't make 3 yard pass.

Lovenkrands to keep for me because he's much better on the ball and better in a partnership.

I feel sorry for Lover to be honest. He makes good runs and has good pace. Especially today he looked sharp and really full of energy, but he had ****ing Ameobi <doh> as his partner. I think if Best was playing it would have been a different outcome <ok>

How can you not rate Nolan? His goals have kept us up this year and most of them have come from centre midfield. When he doesn't play, we lose. Simple.

you cant even make a case for shola after todays performance... he has 1 good game in every 5 and is usually ****... today he offered nothing, he couldnt even offer an outlet because he doesnt play to his size he lost every ****ing header, if ur a useless big lump and you cant even play like a big lump, then what is ur purpose?

Yes, fair point but what I'm trying to say is that if we want to have a more ''attractive'' brand of football which 50,000+++ fans deserve then IMO he doesn't fit into that. Nolan's a good battler, he's got good strength but hasn't got the pace, control, passing, quickness, mobility nor skill to be our creative force in the middle to work with Tiote(mind he's made a very good partnership we've him this season).. that position goes to Barton. Barton - Creative maestro. Tiote - Defensive/Holding ''tough nut''. You get my point? it depends on the formation though.. he works good as a support striker IMO but he's not a top CM.

Wrong time for this poll , Tash.

Everyone's going to say get rid of Shola as a knee jerk reaction to his performance today.

  19. No, i've been slowly coming to this decision for about 6 months. Lover brings more to the game than Shola, and if it were Lover and Best on the field today, it would have been 1-2 to us with Best or Lover scoring.

Best and Lover have better pace, Ball control, work rate and passing ability. They work much better with the team. Shola can **** off.

Maybe I'm being too harsh on Nolan and Ameobi. But yeah they were dreadful today. On this evidence Guthrie's injury was bad. :(

Knee jerk reaction.. possibly yes. Meh.. I guess if Nolan scores next week we'll all forget this right?

Tomo.. I'll probably say.. well he's our top scorer.. what would we do without him?
