I'm addicted to this web site, particularly since the Premier League season kicked off. I'm not sure how I used to get throughs a day work before. Is anyone else battling this addiction?
Nope, just you. I have a look if I have a spare five minutes. And in the evenings I go on the app as well as Twitter and other ones. Probably less now the transfer window is closed.
I know its early days, but much preferred the Championships teams fans, made build ups far more interesting, especially those pesky Brizol fans & the 'walk the league' Foxes. Not engaged in anything remotely engaging with any Utd, City or Wigan (tumbleweed) fans.
I come on here between doing lots of other things although I do enjoy visiting for longer periods when there is something developing or after a match. There are some great posters and thankfully in the main a degree of sanity although I do get a bit out of my depth with some of the modern stuff like music, films and games. Having said that I don't miss it when I am away but read it avidly when I am at home.
Have to admit to visiting a lot while I've been on shifts during the Games. Less so in the evenings and weekends.
The premierleague is ****e full stop , too much money why should prem fans be any different , they never were before when we were here .
I'm not fighting it if it as an addiction. Only see Saints fans occasionally and am forced to discuss football mainly with fans of other clubs, so this is main site for info (especially twitter stuff). Other sites aren't really for me. My son, of course, is an obsessed Saints fan (can't imagine where he gets that from).
I'm very frustrated because my PC at work only has Internet Explorer 7 which doesn't seem to support not606 any more. The IT department also block all social forum-type websites. So I have to read about Saints on other websites and leave seeing how you guys feel about things until I get home, by which time most things are old news!
I'd say the same. To be honest, I kind of miss being in league 1. Finding out which awful ground you would be up against next game. Meeting new fans and seeing news areas, which give football a different perspective. Less of the plastic fans talking nonsense. I guess the same could be applied to the Championship and then applied all the way down to the last but one league. It was a good run.
Download chrome. You'll be able to download it on your work PC fine, even though they block certain downloads.
Err... not Chrome, nor Safari for that matter, if you're tempted and allowed. Firefox is best. Or Opera. Chrome is... yuck..! Mind you, if you allowed to download anything you'd probably just update your IE.
Do you not have any preparatory reading to complete before the new semester? It wasn't this cushy when I went to University.
Then work a little harder to raise the standard. Don't moan about everything do something such as start an interesting and intelligent thread. Overwhelm us with your insightfulness and understanding of the nuances of the modern game.
