It's a shame but I wish him well. Rambo definitely should move back and let Moses play. Oscar will not play pivot because he doesn't suit it.

Not being harsh just being realistic. Love lamps for all he has done but he is a liability now, he ruins our tempo, balance and team. Constantly goes forward at every oppurtunity playing 2nd striker, getting in torres' way, leaving Mikel exposed and on his own when the other team counter attacks and etc etc. He has a job as a player in the pivot and he should do it but he don't. He should leave the attacking to the attackers. No surprise the one game where we dominated the midfield and played quality was the Newcastle game when Lamps didn't play. He is also undroppable as he moans like a bitch when he don't play and he is also trying to break tamblings goal record so will continue to go forward at every single oppurtunity to try and score. RDM is even blind to how bad he is now and how he is not doing his job or is just scared to drop him. Can not believe he wants Lamps to be given a new 2 year + contract as well . Lamps will get him the sack
Push Luiz into the central midfield role, the guy isobviously a little bit suspect defensively but is also a hugely talented individual with the ball Can he pass the ball? Yes Can he tackle? Yes to a degree better than all of our midfielders Can he dribble? without doubt Can he shoot? Certainly Does he have pace? Yes He has all the attributes to be a CDM and we have enough cover at CB
I completely agree but he shouldn't be given a 2 year contract. Maybe 1 more season even then more problems may arise. Regards to Tamblings record I'm sure he doesn't have that in his mind before he steps out onto the pitch.

Well we only bought him for £12m, so not a massive loss. I think this is a really stupid move. we are leaving ourselves very light in the center. really should have bought someone in. I did like Meireles though, will never forget his belter against Benfica, after the fans had been booing him the entire match. Brilliant stuff.
TBF--Mireiles never really made his mark here! He spent his time with too much managerial confusion going on and didn't have the chance to show what he was capable of! Good luck to him in the future!
I do wonder if we have left ourselves light in the middle and upfront. We have let a hell of a lot of players leave (loans included) and don't seem to have bought many in.
Ridiculous decision. He is very hit and miss but he was pretty much unplayable against Newcastle, arguably his best for game for us and then a few days later we go and sell him...i'd have him over Mikel or frank any day of the week. Left with Mikel, Lampard & Romeu now. Little bit short. Seems weird we loaned Essien out and then let Raul go....
Totally disagree. The guy did not have CFC in his heart, you could tell that every game and sometimes with every pass. He was also atrocious as often as he was occasionally good last season and was a major culprit for sloppy passing in a lot of the bigger games. I for one am glad he's gone but mainly for financial reasons rather than anything personal, Ramires is/always was a CM not a chuffing winger and he will move back into the centre so let's not get all worked up eh?
95% of players don't have the club they play for in their heart. It's called money. I can't really see Ramires being comfortable in a 2 man midfield. He works hard but he's not really a ball player or a holding player. He's got too much energy to play as a holding midfielder, if that makes sense. I thought it was the main position we needed to strengthen in the summer as i feel it's somewhere we're way behind when it comes to our rivals so i was really surprised we didn't bring anybody in. I don't really rate Mereiles btw, he was extremely frustrating to watch. But i just think when you look at what we have left it was a strange decision to sell him.
