No, the spanish league just can't defend which means a lot of goals scored

Probably why theyre European and World Champions. Maybe rest of countries should give up defending as well

Of course the Spanish national team is also made up of players from the PL. Germany are probably IMO actually better than Spain, doesn't mean the Bundesliga is the best league in the world (although it is improving, probably better than Serie A right now).

I'd say it's pretty stupid to try to compare the PL and La Liga directly, completely different leagues with different styles and dynamics. What I will definitely say is that in terms of competitiveness and excitement the PL is head and shoulders above La Liga.

Probably why you get a different top four every season in the Premiership, because of it's competitiveness?

There has been a different top 4 the last 4 seasons, and I think it's fair to say the Scummers, City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Newcastle, Liverpool and Everton will all think they have a realistic shot at the CL places this year. Compare that to La Liga's glorified SPL (with Valencia more often than not in 3rd) and there's no competition.

Have of that list think they have a shot but haven't. Newcastle spurs everton top four once in ten years and Liverpool are a joke for many seasons now

And yet going by the last few seasons one of them will make it in. Probably at Arsenal's expense.

Think they'll come good eventually. They've lost VDV and Modric but they've bought quite well IMO.

I was disappointed when JH and Snoddy left but agreed with their decisions.

    Ben Parker said it best.

Exactly. Your judgement can always be clouded as a fan, and I've always tried to look past that, and doing that I can't actually think why Snoddy stayed as long as he did and Bates had Howson on an unofficial transfer list anyway.

Think he's a free agent at the moment, which is weird because there seemed to be a bit of interest in the summer.

Why, do you want to cross-examine him to check whether his reported quotes were actually what he said? <laugh>
