Let me pose a question, why are so many football fans so utterly and painfully moronic? I was surrounded by such a gormless collection of fans today, many of whom booed guly when he was brought on and started abusing our debutant mayuka, thinking it was guly. They spoke as if they new the game inside out with useful suggestions such as, "run you ****" and "****ing score a goal saints," not least they believed themselves a better tactician then adkins. So please tell me, why are so many football fans are so, so stupid?
I sympathise, as I had to endure the exact same from a complete prick sat next to me. He did not get behind the team once, instead yelling abuse every time a Saints player did something wrong.
Some are like thwarted children. To them players are only giving 75% and not really trying...unless you are flavour of the month and then you can do no wrong.
The most disgusting thing is how Adkins always ignores the fans - that "Get stuck in! **** 'em up!" chant is full of incisive tactical knowledge, why do no managers ever use that?
It's beyond me, the only thing I can think of is that he doesn't want to be seen as copying the fans? May show some weakness..
