Sorry for the title this is the champagne moment thread.

    Nominations and why please,

Obviously mine is Michael Schumacher and his push and defence from 13th to 2nd, and then eventually 7th place finish with 6 gears.
Strategy was ****, but a nice way to celebrate number 300.

You sure you don't mean to title this the 'champagne moment' thread?
In any case, STR, on a well deserved break. Shame the strategy let fown Ricciardo down in the end of the race..again.

Has to be Button's masterful drive, even if he didn't really have any competition.

Kimi's pass on Schuey. That was a ballsy overtake. :)

For his 'come back' and controlled manner of the whole weekend it has to be Button for me.

Seems like there's no middle ground with that chap.... He's either farting about at the back or dominating. Fabulous drive all weekend from Button and has given himself (with the help of Grosjean) at least a wiff of the title.

Has to be Jenson Button for me.

After such a difficult season, seeing him come back from the summer break and pull off a weekend like that is a true testament to his ability and his determination.

Here's hoping he can keep this up at Monza, the silence from the Button-bashers is amazing. :)

I think it has to be Hulkenberg for me. Absolutely brilliant drive for him, with some good overtakes, especially on Schumacher (?) at La Source

Champagne moment for me was seeing Fernando Alonso getting out of his car unaided and without injury.

Notwithstanding the initial shock of what happened, it is unusual to see a driver remain in his car for more than a few seconds, if he is capable of getting out of it.

Button returning to form, Alonso being ok after the crash and Seb slicing through the field!

Actually... fair play to Vettel. He had a few nice overtaking maneuvers. If he hadn't already, that puts the lid on the overtaking myth.
