Would be a good date to have an organised protest against Bates

Best protest is just don't go. Live on tv, watch it down the pub.

But once bates goes, I agree - I think sales will go through the roof temp and then people will hope prices fall to reasonable levels before committing longer term

I reckon something's changing at Elland Road, £20 for a ticket for Everton and £11 juniors! Has captain Birdseye had a change of heart or is he on his way out?!

We got stung for all the home cup games against premiership teams in the past. This way we get tv revenue and a decent crowd to boot.

I've never been able to understand how 23,000 paying £36 is better than 40,000 paying £25 with the crowd roaring the team on and spending more £ in the ground. He's just a stubborn old fool.

More profit for bates with smaller crowd. Less staff to pay and less policing, not that he's paying them anyway. Of course you're right though, we'd all prefer the 40k crowds again

True, but they should still lower the prices there and back off with the neo-fascist policing. Otherwise it just ruins the atmosphere when only 500 fans ever turn up and none of them ever make any noise to create some banter.

Only ones I recall being any good last season were West 'Am and Burnley.
