Nugent got 15 in the league last year Beckford got 9 Apart from last season Andy King's worst total is 11. And thats from midfield On Kingy his all round game was alot better yesterday
Yes, I was pleased with King's performance yesterday. I wish Vardy would be a bit more greedy in the box. On a couple of occasions he should have shot instead of squaring the ball. PLEASE BE GREEDY INSIDE THE BOX!
So cup game goals don't count then? I though king drifted in and out the game again, but he definitely seems to have been taught to get a foot in and try to tackle now instead of shying away from it
Im not saying they dont count but i cant understand why people big Beckford up so much. 3 goals against a very very poor Forest side and 2 against League 2 Swindon make his tally seem alot better then it was Even Gally scored 8 in the league so 9 for a striker on 25K+ a week is pathetic
Beckford was poor yesterday but he did work really hard. Not easy when your club has tried to get rid of you the day before?On a plus note I think we have found the next LB in Schupp!!
I said after the Peterborough game that Beckford was misfiring again, we saw the same thing yesterday. The guy seems to have forgotten how to hit a football. I hope he stays as we will be light upfront otherwise, but he needs to sort himself out. Like I said a few weeks ago, he's got until the new year to sort himself out or be shipped out.

Looked as though he scuffed one chance and sliced another, the slice was very unlike Beckford who had a snap shot rather than the composure we are used to, i hope he isn't going to be **** on purpose to push through a loan deal, but it was a single shot, so not going to say that he doesn't want to be here. Thought he put the effort in though, was unlucky when he chipped the keeper, but wouldn't have counted anyway cause Vardy was offside ... again ...
I didn't see much evidence of that ... Beckford never sees much further than Beckford .. Vardy is an example of what 'really tryng' means chasing lost causes and making defenders give away throw ins by letting them have no time on the ball ... Beckfords performance can be summed up as follows: Missed sitter - should have least have worked the keeper Skyed effort when plenty of time and team mate better placed in middle Gave ball away in OUR penalty area creating mayhem Could have slipped ball sideways to Vardy whose pace would have taken him clear of defence - but held on far too long and then gave Vardy a suicide ball in terms of 40:60 in outcoming keepers favour .. but Nugent wasn't much better .. if his legs worked as hard as his gob he'd be OK ... but showed how thick he is by robbing King of what looked like being a goal. The thing is Nugent works for the team Beckford doesn't. I have completely had enough of Beckford. If he carries on Nigel will freeze him out completely like he did with DJ Campbell where Nigel didn't even give him a squad number and he left him in the reserves
Beckford really annoyed me on Sat - brought him on to stretch the Blackpool defence and keep them on their toes but he did **** all but walking around waving his arms.
Beckford is a lazy, selfish, greedy, ego driven arse. But because Sven gave him a stupid contract we cant get rid of him. And while he is making 25K a week he aint bothered one bit Cheers Sven, enjoy your new job in Thailand
