I had the pleasure of being in the box today and after that initial 30 mins where we sat way too deep i saw many positives for the future. I understand trying to frustrate city early doors but we tried and failed. After that i was really impressed at what we tried to do both with hughes and the players. Granero looks a great technical player, nelson was solid and experienced, loved seeing faurlin back, dyer really impressed me but fabio was fantastic today. We are going to move up this league sooner rather than later. For 65 mins i thought we tactically got it spot on despite losing ( as silly as that sounds) . We had the champs on the back foot for a while!!

Was agreeing with you up to the point about Dyer and Fabio.

Dyer was alright but wasn't on long enough to make an impression.

Totally disagree about Fabio. I just don't see what he offers. Poor defensively and lacks composure.

Bob, given your withering opinion of MH so far this year, that is a really encouraging summary. And good to see someone bold enough to post on what they see, not fixed prejudices. Cheers

    We all see different things!

I think Fabio just seems a little fickle and doesn't have the same motivation as others do. Yet, he obviously has ability going forward and is OK in defence.

Dyer looked quality to me, showed a bit of pace, a bit of skill and a few decent passes.

This. Love reading good honest feedback, not '**** no matter what' type rants.
