awsome second half, lads did well there and i thought we were going to get a 3rd to win it.

made me proud to see the boys fight back from behind twice and then dominating with 10 men. give the gaffer credit for taking mitchu off and putting ki on when we went down to 10 men, if he didn't i think we may well have lost it.

Ki looked like he played for the team for seasons when he came on after going down to 10 men . Got a good feeling about the last 35 games !!!

no two ways about it we should have won that game, it was there for the taking when we brought it back to 2 all. Chico, that was an idiotic challenge when there was absolutely no reason for it all. two pts dropped and presumably now a 3 match suspension. not a good day for our defence and heartbreaking for Taylor. On the bright side our midfield is really beginning to gel, some incredible passages of play. Looks like we'll need to keep scoring tho as not sure were going to keep too many clean sheets.

A good game, enjoyed it thoroughly and we should have won it, thought Chico was an idiot with the challenge but he will learn, one thing for certain is that he has passion. Thought ki was class and will be huge for us this season. And what can you say about Michu ? Another goal <ok> we have what we've been missing for years ! Routledge was great and he took his goal really well.

I'm gutted for Taylor though , if he broken his ankle we'll be lucky to see him back in the next 10-12 weeks, devastated for him.

We did excellent. Much the better team.
Sunderland couldn't get the ball of us.

**** defending by Ash, I'll forgive him.
Ref was a complete ****er. Allowing a goal when it should have been half time. Frequently making decisions against us when it was our boys who were trying to play and their team who were trying to obstruct.

Chico's challenge was stupid but should have been yellow in my opinion. I see people with their foot up that high every week and not even get a yellow.

    Sunderland rode their luck

How we did not win that even with 10 men is beyond me......A bad error by ash gifted sunderland their first goal and overall a poor first half, taylor looks to be out for a few months now but we should be able to cope with that. second half we were awsum and we had shot after shot and should have been out of sight, we slowed down a bit when chico was sent off (rightly so) but again we were the ones that looked more likely to score....sunderland did have one good shot and fair play the dependable Alan Tate was there to block the shot. ...anyway we are still second and i cant see many teams beating us at home this season and not many will beat us away from home either....it does feel like 2pts dropped though.....

A game we should have won but this was a Sunderland side that were well organised at the back which left little space to work in. Poor games for Rangel, Chico and Williams - that's three of the back four. Davies did well when he came on for Taylor. Not a great day for Britton either.

On the other hand, we looked very impressive elsewhere and in the second half should have gone on to win it, but the sending off put paid to that. Stupid boy. He really needs to get a grip as he was to blame for the second goal too.

A point is welcome but it should have been more.

Listening to the game, happy with the point at the end. Proud of the boys to come back twice, and reading some of the posts on here Ki fitted in well and some good subs by ML. Gutted about chicco's sending off. We are game of the day on sky sports tonight, so extended highlights, looking forward to watching it, but still unbeaten this season :smiley-finger007:

...forgot to mention Ki. Looked very composed on the ball and looks a great acquisition.

Two points dropped. Sunderland were shi@e and we should have buried them. We were still better than them with 10 men!

    7 points out of 9 - I am still happy :)

Well played lads, you were the better team, we got a good point and it's that simple for me. A few more games together and I think we will come on leaps and bounds.

Could you clear one thing up for me please, we are getting a bit stick for booing Taylor when he was being carried off with a broken leg, is that true? Or was it the Swansea fans booing our player who he clashed with?

    Thanks in advance

Yes they were booing the player, but it was a bit unfair as I don't think it was his fault, we will see it on motd later

While Taylor was having oxygen John O Shea was getting involved and wound up the fans close to the incident.

To a man, none of the Sunderland fans gave him a clap as he was carried off. There was a lot of booing going on but it was for several incidents at the same time.

Not true. The Sunderland fans were clapping Taylor, as did the players. Saw it. Heard it.

Idiot Swans fans were booing the Sunderland player and it wasn't his fault. Morons.

Thought you said to a man none were.

Quite a lot of their fans were clapping but I see little point in arguing about it. The booing by our fans was uncalled for but that's what you get with plastics.
