I am definitely not an abuser of referees, but the lino on one youth game was flagging us offside all the time. I have to admit that after a while I started running the line just behind him and daring him to raise his flag. I apologised to our manager afterwards saying that i shouldn't have done it...he said, Don't worry, it certainly improved his performance.
Reminds me of the under 21's against Pompey last season at Staplewood. Sinclair was frequently bundled off the ball savagely and not once did the lino flag, even when one of the tackles actually had Sinclair fall into the lino himself. I offered him my glasses to help him which he took umbridge to unfortunately. Didn't improve his game.
