Absolutely, but if we lose all our games until then it might be too late!

(not suggesting we will, before people start)

    No. Not good enough.

But we do have Yoshida who can replace him, so we do have cover.

What's the point of bringing in a new 4th choice when Seaborne is perfectly adequate?

Happy enough for now. Can re-evaluate January. Wouldn't be a good idea to change the whole team like QPR are doing in my opinion

If we get to the point of injuries to our Cb's i believe we can sign emergency loans unless i'm mistaken? I think our two first choice CB's will be Jos and Yosh with Jose and Seabourne and Stephens as cover. I think we will be fine...i hope

There isn't a point at all unless you explain it - why bother upgrading your 4th choice CB when you have one who is good enough as it is?

An injury is bad. 2 injuries would be pretty horrific. But hey, let's wait and see......it would have been good to get another CB but I think we can patch it together until January.

exactly, i wouldn't want Seaborne to play, only takes 2 injuries for him to be needed. i think Gabbidon on a contract till january would be a good signing.

You have always slated Seaborne for some reason !!!! In favour of Martin.

Seaborne hasn't played for a year after his accident & by all accounts did well on Tuesday night.

Give the lad a chance for once. Was first choice with Fonte before his injury

Fair point, there's a general and perhaps unfair assumption that DS won't cut it, or at least be good enough to pull us through to January. We have no choice under the circumstances so let's hope he can prove us wrong. If he's needed.

Five centre backs would be overkill, though. Give him a chance, you might be pleasantly surprised. Anyway chances of him actually being needed are remote. We didn't even have a fourth centre back last season, and there were eight more games.
