I think we are done for this window

My gut feeling is we have maybe made some enquiries and potentially lined up some deals but for whatever reason, they have just not come off. I feel MoN did have 1 or 2 others in mind and would have liked another striking option to Saha and Fletcher but its not happened. **** happens.

We will now have to depend on Ji, Wickham and Campbell (has anyone come in for him at all in my absence).

Disappointed? Not at all as we have recruited well this summer. Wish it could have been maybe one more quality addition? Of course.

Roll on Swansea and a few beers down Chester tomorrow watching the lads. The Johnno, Fletch, Jimmy, Larsson and Sessegnon show

 

i think we're done too - sess signing a new contract saw to that. we will play (injury permitting) with one up top, two wingers (the mon special), and sess in behind the striker, with two holding midfielders. fletcher is obviously number one up front, so to be honest wickham, campbell and ji as cover there is plenty.


i'd have loved dempsey, but we've done really well this window, cleared a lot of dross of the wage bill and upped the quality of the squad, without another huge turnover of players.


i'd happily see every window go like this for us.

Cuellar, Fletcher and AJ are all first team players and Saha will let no-one down. Rose has a big job proving he can hack it as a 1st team regular but he is the LB MoN has chosen to play for us this next year and as we donut have a LB at the moment, he has a good chance of playing. Lol.


Glad its over (I like the last day to be fair) and we can concentrate on creating a team to challenge the top 10 this season.
