A good team for him. I've always liked Brighton.

Also, Bothroyd can be a good player but he is too inconsistent and hasn't shown much at QPR.

still haven't forgiven him for his part in that last minute defeat to Man City. Lazily booting it back to them in the dying seconds when he could have run the ball into their half and killed the game. Aaarghh!!!

If he didn't spend 89 minutes of each match fannying about on the left wing in some sort of attempt to fool the defence he might be a reasonable centre-forward. As it is, he's a useless lump.

Well summed up by Watford as usual, infuriating player, good riddance.

QPR’s Jay Bothroyd was on Friday afternoon close to completing a six-month loan move to Sheffield Wednesday, although Brighton are also interested in signing the striker.

Bothroyd, who is not in Rangers manager Mark Hughes’ plans, played under Owls boss Dave Jones at Cardiff.

He was in talks with the Yorkshire club this morning and looked likely to choose a move to Hillsborough.

Stood and smiled at SSN when it was confirmed we had signed a Real Madrid midfielder Granero !!!!
I sat there in the stands not too many years ago and see us lose to average teams in the third tier of football on a cold wet tuesday night....

I live halfway between QPR and Brighton - if someone can get Bothroyd to me I will be more than happy to drive him the rest of the way!
