MON has signed him, he can be a good player when fit Hopefully will pull of a Bramble and shock us all by being brilliant in first few games
It is a shock...but the for the first time in many many years we have a manager who I trust 100%. If MoN signs a player then thats good enough for me. As soon as he walks out in the SoL in a red and white shirt he will get my total support.
I'd be gutted if we have paid a single penny for him to be honest, as he is poop and will never get into the Spuds team anyway. If we have paid £1.5m/£2m we've been had imo.
He's not better than we've got, he's always injured, & he left the scum because the north east was like living in a fish bowl, his words.
jenas is a terrible bit of business....it smacks of reo coker when mon was at villa just hope we are not paying owt for him. Surely there are better options out there for left back im sure blackburn would snap peoples hands off now for a bid on olsson now they have paid 8 million for rhodes
just taking from SB NATION. Martin O'Neill and Sunderland have apparently found their way to the Emerald City. After spending some time this morning trying to sign Jermaine Jenas, the Black Cats have realized what they were doing and backed out of the deal. Apparently no amount of money that Spurs offered Sunderland would convince them to take Jenas. It seemed a little unbelievable that Sunderland really wanted Jenas. O'Neill is a smart manager, which should have made the links to Jenas dubious, but people get bringing them up and Jenas has this remarkable ability to keep finding suitors. For a while we were actually believing that the impossible might happen, but it won't, which is sad. I was really excited to call O'Neill the Scarecrow. As of now, there isn't a single rumor floating around about any team showing interest in Jenas, wich is completely believable. I guess all of these other teams have access to TV's and video. Technology sucks sometimes. 0 comments | Add comment | 0 recs |
