Taken from the BBC transfer feed page: 1422: French football expert Matt Spiro: "Marseille sporting director Jose Anigo claims the French club have "other options" should they fail to land Joey Barton on loan. "At least Barton will have had the chance to see the city and the climate here," Anigo said. Probably not the kind of statement that Barton or Queens Park Rangers were hoping for."

Continuous as the stars that shine And twinkle on the milky way, They stretched in never-ending line Along the margin of a bay: Ten thousand saw I at a glance, Tossing their heads in sprightly dance. The waves beside them danced; but they Out-did the sparkling waves in glee: A poet could not but be gay, In such a jocund company: I gazedâand gazedâbut little thought What wealth the show to me had brought: For oft, when on my couch I lie In vacant or in pensive mood, They flash upon that inward eye Which is the bliss of solitude; And then my heart with pleasure fills, And dances with the daffodils.
Would have thought this more Barton: Philip Larkin - This Be The Verse They **** you up, your mum and dad. They may not mean to, but they do. They fill you with the faults they had And add some extra, just for you. But they were ****ed up in their turn By fools in old-style hats and coats, Who half the time were soppy-stern And half at one another's throats. Man hands on misery to man. It deepens like a coastal shelf. Get out as early as you can, And don't have any kids yourself.
Apparently the French deadline ends on Tuesday so I am assuming we can still loan him out after our deadline???
The French window closes on Tuesday and not today. Why rush it through now if you can knock an extra game off the ban? Unless the French FA have different rules to us he can't play this weekend anyway (unless we don't have to have them registered by noon on the Friday any more either).
I wandered lonely as a psychopath That kicks and spits and punches When all at once the ref second half Showed me the red for hasty lunges So I grabbed him by the neck and twisted And now off to jail the judge insisted.

I wandered about a bit on my own, Punched a kid outside a pub Cos I'm I **** I'm going on loan QPR is no longer my club ****ed things up so that is that What a shame, I'm such a twat.
I don't understand where the delay comes from. We want him to go. Barton def wants to go and it appears Marseille want him. Why the delay? Agents??
No mention of a delay. It just says they have other options. He's as good as gone. Hope the loan becomes permanent.
Their deadline doesn't come into the equation; as far as I know the Barton loan must be tied up by 11pm today or else it mist wait for the next transfer window.
I keep in touch will all my fans and let them know of all my plans. I find some time to update twitter - I write best when on the sh!tter. It gives me inspiration, see, Not only as I have a wee but when I have a number two that's when I twitter big jobs too.
It looks as if he has gone ...... Thank god - overated and never played for the shirt......Onwards and upwards lads Even brighter times ahead for the hoops.....
They're the club signing him, so unless the Barton loan is part of the M'Bia deal it's their window that matters and our window is irrelevent.
