Never have I seen this board in total agreement about anything never mind a player so well done MON on the Jenas one still not a done deal mind but, a masterstroke and a board in unity.

Hmmm I fear the board is not united in praise for Jenas, almost the opposite in fact! I've always been a big fan of his and I'd be very happy with him

I think your first point is exactly the one Talc intended! I always thought the lad was good as a young'un but his injuries have taken their toll. But didn't he play for MON at Villa so he must think there is still something in his locker, if he is fit and stays fit. We just have to trust MON I guess.

Edit no he didnt play for MON he was signed by Mcleish. never mind!!

Jenas is proper ****e. Could have been something 10 years ago but never got there.

Just an injury prone journeyman now and not as good as either Catts, Meyler, Colback, Vaughan or Gardener in that central position. I cant even begin to think why we would even consider him for free never mind paying for him.

I'm stopping short of open critisism but this is a total and utter **** up in the making if true. The mags will ridicule us for bringing one of their rejects in; the Spuds will ridicule us for buying one of their crocks; and if he plays, he will ridicule us AND more importantly, he will stop Colback and Meyler playing who are both better.

If Colback is moved to LB to accomodate him I will be very, very openly critical over the coming weeks. I thought our days of buying everyone elses rubbish was over after last week and even got very excited but hey presto, normal service is resumed 7 days later. This is a Mick McCarthy era signing where we scrimped and scraped to get bodies in on a shoestring budget who we all knew were not good enough but we had no choice. Personally, I'd sooner not have anyone else in today, if having him is the only alternative.

I just hope we have some extra staff in the medical room for the rest of the campaign. They will be well used and I can not see 1 single positive about this signature in any shape or form.

    He's gash.

If he signs I'm gonna instruct my mate Samson the Cat to go all Cantona on the ****er.

He was a player of massive potential, who got ahead of himself, faded to average, and then started getting injured every 4 days.

It would be an awful signing, IMO.
