Decent enough player who thought he was better than he actually was. It's funny but everyone is thanking him for the derby goal, which was fantastic tbh but without it, what would we really remember him for in 5 years?

Not a full back, not as good as Jimmy on the wing and nowhere near Sess in that role off the forward. He didn't have any real role to call his own.

Good luck and best wishes but we are no worse off really for his departure and it would be hypocritical of me to say otherwise.

Tbf Cest, he did play under Keane and Bruce in a different position each week - defending one, attacking the next - and he did it without complaining. Just got his head down and did the job. He wasn't the most gifted, but he always put in the effort. Which is what I think won most peoples respect.

Not denying he was a trooper but he wasn't the greatest either, which is why he couldn't hold down a regular place anywhere.

Not his biggest fan but, knew enough to know he was getting federally fooked over by management asking him to play somewhere he wasn't happy playing. This may have been a deciding factor in him moving on who knows? Good luck to the lad but, think we may have got the best of that particular deal.

bye keyring, thanks for that free kick. hope fulham play you on the wing or off the striker.

he wasn't the best, but for those saying the free kick was the only thing he did well, of the top of my head i remember that brace against pompey the first year we came up and terrorising ashley cole in the 3-0 at the bridge... don't dismiss him so easily...

See wishes do come true, they just take years to happen.:bandit:

Appreciate the lads dedication, but I have never rated him as a top flight player.

My biggest bugbear with him was when he lost the ball either on the wing or in midfield. (Which lets be honest he did a lot. ) He would then just stand still and not try to get the ball back.
    So frustrating.
And don't get me started about him at LB. hhahaha

Like others have said he will still get a warm welcome back. ( As long as he is only visiting. :p)
