the bloke on sky and also the radio said he was a young highly rated player and it was a good coup for QPR.
He hasn't been able to get into the Portsmouth starting 11 and they haven't even got any players!I'm hoping he's one for the future,if he goes straight into our back four it could all end in tears for everyone.
From the sound of what he's saying about playing in the under 21 league he seems to be under no illusions of getting straight in the senior first team. I think it's one for the future, and is a great sign that we are no only looking to obtain talented players from overseas like Granera, but are also investing in home grown young talent. Well done Mark, Mike, Tony and Amit
On the pompey board they said at one stage that Liverpool were after him. They also said that he may not have played due to going to us and they didn't want to injure him.
I know this sounds rather silly but every time I play FM2012 handheld and become England manager, he's my first choice CB by 2018! He has the best stats. One for the future I think.
DID YOU KNOW... FM use real life scouts for players & some football league clubs use the FM database to scout players. No joke
Evening lads, Liverpool fan here. Magri came up to Liverpool for a trial in the second half of the season just gone. Played in a couple of our reserve games and by all accounts, was decent. Not sure why we didn't go for him in the end but sounds like a decent signing. I spoke to the Portsmouth fans on here and they seemed to rate him very highly indeed. There was a fee of around £350,000 talked about and Portsmouth fans thought that was on the small side. With Portsmouth's financial situation still not great, you've probably got him for a little bit less than that. (Do you know the fee?) Will be interesting to see how he gets on!
