Job done Relatively good performance, concerned about the amount of silly mistakes we're making, certainly being made to pay for them. Allen is probably my MOTM again, I thought Downing did okay at left back and Gerrard had a decent game too. Now we can look ahead to Arsenal on Sunday and hope for a similar performance to the one against City.
Well, we said this all last season, but at some point the chances will be converted and we will hammer someone.
We should have put 5 goals past Hearts. This is no good at all. Where should the goals come from? Last season We had the same problem. How Can We College acquise the muncs and chelskis? Terrible.
Jesus Suarez frustrates me! Why can he score the hard ones so easily!!? Really hope BR has a natural goal scorer lined up (and I'm not talking about Clint Dempsey) because once again we showed how wasteful we can be.
Who said anything about stylish football? You drew 1-1 against Hearts, that is a terrible result through or not through.
Meh it was a decent performance and a serviceable result. Bit like an attack vs defence training match really.
Now you really shouldn't come into our house talking about terrible performances after what your side offer up on a regular basis.
So much potential just waiting to click, only had 6 competitive games and some of the passages of play are great to watch. Suarez just needs to stop thinking so much, his goal was instinctive and his hardest chance of the game. ESPN were saying that now Carroll's gone to West Ham Huntelaar is looking likely, would LOVE that. Also kudos to Downing, he looked good at left back, not tested defnsively, but he seemed to be getting forward at the right time and he put at least 3 excellent crosses in. We're through and that's all that really matters as long as we go get 3 points on Sunday, reckon Sahin will start? The idea of him and Allen at the base of midfield with Gerrard in front of them has got me salivating!!!
I just watched it, Hearts were good (expected due to circumstances) and a draw was a fair result. It's nothing to be happy about though, Spurs' reserves and youth thumped Hearts and they had their main man back then too. Don't get tetchy dave, what exactly do we offer up on a regular basis? It's been 9 points thus far whereas you lot have scraped through the Europa League and gained 1 point in the Prem . I didn't even come here to have a dig, it's just a fact that 1-1 vs Hearts at home is a terrible result, if you don't agree then you're quite frankly a moron.
