If not meyler there must be other CM names in the frame, we are looking a bit light there, moreso with cairneys injury and mckennas suspension
I've heard a whisper he's dropping into the lower leagues, signing a Hartlepool central midfielder who has only just signed for them this summer. Anyone got any idea who that could be?
Hopefully he's better than that winger of ours called Cameron Stewart, who has a brilliant record of 1 goal and 8 assists in 49 league games.
I've heard mention of Nick Powell on loan, but that's about it. I suspect there's at least one name that hasn't even been mentioned yet. And it looks like any deal for Meyler won't be completed before the deadline, so would be a three month loan up to Christmas.
No. 1 goal in 60. http://www.thisishullandeastriding....n-Sunderland/story-16791622-detail/story.html
Wait until you see Elmos I hope we keep him as I highly rate the lad and so do a lot of Sunderland fans. Be a great signing for you if that comes off.
Watching Calendar news that would mean more signing for us in a day than were due to start at the Bradford City free school next week.
seems the sunderland fans are split on him, sounds like a few liked his effort but sounds a bit raw, from what i can gather might do well at our level or bottom end prem. just Boyd, Powell and Meyler/tunnicliffe to go now
Alright lads, safc fan here, elmo will be class in the championship for you, he's quick, can bamboozle defenders, decent crosser and loves to get forward, more of a wb. He will terrorise full backs for you no doubt. Good luck for the season, keep faith in brucey, if you dont make at least the playoffs i will be very suprised
Cheers for the heads up. Bruce may just play him Right wing and move Aluko over to the left, Bit of competition for the wing places now. Quite a few Sunderland fans dont rate elmo what are his weaknesses?
