I would be very disappointed with Jenas as he is finished (if he ever started) at this level imo. Strinic I know very little about tbh but if Marty has had him watched (presuming Pop has been involved in this) then fine. Dawson? Mmmm. Not sure really as £9m is a lot of dough for a player we are not desperate for. Defoe and Dempsey were us all just dreaming aloud lads. Wont happen.

Being completely honest, out of, Jenas, Rose, Dempsey, Dawson and Defoe I would only take Defoe, we've spent a lot of money improving the first team, and we've got more than enough CMs and CBs no need to spend 9 million on Dawson! With Dempsey, he'd cost a lot of money with transfer fee and wages and surely wouldn't be a guaranteed starter? No point spending that money to improve our squad at this stage imo
If we sign a LB and only a LB before the deadline I will be very pleased with this window (provided its not Rose!) Could do with extra cover up front but LB is our only position that we are seriously lacking in
