The guy just oozes goals, I'm sure Del will start him alongside Stead for the game. I really think these two could strike up a excellent partnership. Another three points Saturday will set us on our way to the best start since our return to the championship. What a start boys and girls happy days ahead.
I think he'll start alongside Taylor. Taylor seems to hold the ball up better. (very important away) and My personal opinion is he looks more like he has a goal in him..
100% agree with the first bit - evens re the goal aspect but if he replicates the Palace performance then yes...
It is very close Prem and I wont be disappointed if it is Stead.. Taylor just edges it for me... (in current form)
Sub i suppose? I'm glad I dont have to make these decisions, will we even be playing 2 up front in 'harder away games' ?
I think Davies will start, Del would want to find out his best options so I can see him start alongside Baldock or even possibly in place of Pearson
Thought i logged on to the wrong forum then guys......all this talk of which strikers to play as they are all on fire!......now, wheres my tablets, i need a lie down. BTW, Baldock and Stead to start for me.
Oi....ex best mate.....i am the one on holiday in sunny west walesland so i think its your good self that needs to get of his fat ass and do some work! Go down the corridor and poke fun at our Bolton fan and ask him how the view is from down there.....
i pray to god that he doesn't play 4 5 1 with baldock on one of the wings.. thats such a keith millen thing to do..
He played 2 up front against Florest away so I see no reason not to on sat. Barnsley suffered a poor result last week and then played again away in the League Cup so we should come in fresher and in higher spirits. This means nothing of course, so I'll just cross my fingers. As I said before, ten games is the normal point to analyse expectations of a season but if we get results against Barnsley and Blackburn then I think we could start building our hopes with only half those ten gone.
Is Anderson injured? I think he'll stick with Stead and put Baldock up with him. Taylor will be a bit disappointed but someone's got to make way for the goal machine!
I think Baldrick will start. Looked so pacey and lively in the last game. Something we've been missing since before Maynard was injured. (Never understood why people thought Maynard was quick. He ain't slow but no Ivan Sproule and he was a lot slower when he came back from injury)
Stead should start as he has shown such commitment to the club in the recent past, especially when he wads not even getting a game last season (minus some twitter rants). He gives 100% effort and we need that. I think that Baldock will start alongside him. It's a strong pairing.
I think McInnes needs to rotate before we start to leak strikers as we've done in the past. I'd like to see Baldock and Davies start, with Stead and Pitman coming on.
What has Pitman done to deserve a start? Decent player, not consistent enough, too much of a luxury for this league. I think he'll be off before Friday...
