Not sure what our budget is, But seems with Mckenna and Cairney both being now out we could do with a midfielder in the building pretty quickly, seems were a bit too nice as a team, so a bit of aggression wouldnt go amiss especially now Mckennas banned for 3 games and seems to have upset Brucey. Reo-coker would be great but dont think we can afford him. Montys on a free transfer Sheff utd got rid wages were too high apparntly, Would he fit the bill? Tons of championship experiance.
Powell would be class for us, Fergie put a dampener on any suggestions pre-season by saying he'd be around the first team squad, maybe he's not as close as he first thought. Would definatly get us goals, Double swoop for Powell and Bebe on loan would be amazing.

The problem with the loan window is that you can't get anyone for a full season, if they do well, they can be called back as its supposed to be 90 days. Please correct me if I'm mistaken
There is a 93 day limit, but I'm not sure if you can extend it(or switch it to a half season loan) during the Jan window.
While the transfer window is open, you can sign people on loan from anywhere between a month or a year, its just the loan window that imposes a 93 day limit on borrowing players.
You can do whatever you want when we get to January. There's also the splitting the emergency loan tactic you can use to make the 93 days longer by timing breaks in the loan. If someone finds out the date the emergency loan window closes I'll work out when we can effectively sign players on permanent transfers or on season long loans.
